COMMUNITY
Community is at the heart of my creative process. Being among the people—sharing space, stories, and energy—fuels my work in ways that solitude never could. I draw inspiration from real conversations, local culture, and the everyday resilience I witness in my surroundings. My art is both a reflection of and a dialogue with the communities that shape me.
Spending time in New York and showing work in group exhibitions across the South Bronx, Williamsburg, and Tribeca deeply influenced my perspective. Each neighborhood carried its own rhythm, stories, and creative energy that expanded my understanding of what community can look like. Those experiences reminded me that art lives and breathes through people—it thrives where cultures, ideas, and emotions intersect.
Whether I’m showing at an underground event in Atlanta or connecting with artists in New York, I feel most alive and connected when I’m immersed in that collective spirit. Creating within and for the community reminds me that art isn’t just about self-expression—it’s about connection, understanding, and building something larger than oneself.
